February 12, 2001:
I'm firing up the ol' brain to start thinking about a herf in March. If anyone has any suggestions for locations, drop me a line now. Go to the "Contact Us" page and send mail. Thanks to Roy Knapp for sending a call out to all the names he collected at Martin Mayorga's in December. We hope to see some more new faces at the next ASC Baltimore get-together.
January 14, 2001:
The Milleneum's first herf in the city of Baltimore has come and gone. Things went well. Details available on the events page under "Recent Events".
December 17, 2000:
I want to thank our most gracious host, Mr. Martin Mayorga, for the wonderful evening (December 16). The herf at Martin's roasting facility was an excellent way to spend a rainy, foggy, damp Saturday night. The food was excellent, the coffee was incredible, the cigars are superb, the drinks went down well, and the music was a nice touch. Martin's generosity with the cigar and coffee goodie bags was unexpected and much appreciated. It was an honor to attend this demonstration of genuine hospitality. Everyone I spoke to this evening was completely blown away. Thanks Again!

The January herf is on! I met with Mr. Rex Snyder of Fader's today at the Catonsville store. We set up the final reservations for the pub room on the 13th, enjoyed a smoke, and talked about his company. He might not have the cigars in stock that I requested, but will get back to me with regard to my alternate selections. I'm thinking of a bar-room box pass. More news will be posted as the event draws nearer and the final details fall into place.

OK, I'm completely and utterly insane. I ended up playing with a bunch of neat stuff last night and was up until 3 A.M. editing web pages. However, there's a member listing submission form, a cigar review form, cigar review listing, some links, a Useful Information section (currently with nothing in it, but that'll change), and a fair amount of other material. The design's been cleaned up a bit so it looks nice and isn't a jumble of links and ill-formatted text. I'm actually pretty pleased at the overall design - it's "elegant" in its own way.
November 25, 2000:
The ASC Baltimore Homepage has been published live. It's been a while since I've started a web page from scratch, and I wanted to see what Tripod and their editing software were capable of. So far, the basic framework is in place, and I'll be fleshing it out over the next week. Please submit any interesting links, bits of information, or suggestions via the feedback page.
